Walking to Publix

There is a problem with the way Sarasota is laid out. I thought Florida was flat but it's really full of small hills. You never notice it until you actually take a long walk. At the bottom of the hill you start to see more and more grates and water run-offs. It really is interesting. I would guess that the geography is like this because it's close to the water, but in Miami there is no hills or height change by the water. I guess it's just interesting.

Another trip to the beach.

I went again to the beach without knowing this time. I was ushered into a car by a friend and led out to the crashing waves. The beach looks much different when you look at it during the day. For one thing I guess you can actually see the water color. It's pretty green more than blue but I'd expect that living anywhere within 30 miles of the Bayou. When I visited Jamaica last summer I visited the beach and I really thought that the water was like a pool. You could see straight to the bottom for miles. I think it's because it's not as industrial and the run off isn't as rampant.

The house of Stuff

In the house of stuff there is actually much more to be found relating to my way of life in the future than I thought. The whole talk of designing your home to be energy efficient and seeing it be what it is is very interesting to me. In trying to change a way of life to be more eco friendly and such I would suggest we put a law on attacking animals that are not attacking us. That will be fantastic for the environment.
Anyways the eco house was uber nice. I really liked what the whole place was about and the feeling of it.
